Port of Rosyth

Harbour Information, Terminals and Facilities
(Rosyth, Fife, Scotland, UK)

The port of Rosyth is the newest port in Edinburgh and is a vibrant hub of business facilities. It is located in Fife, 8 miles / 13 km from Edinburgh and is easily reached by rail and road.

Passenger facilities are very limited and include one convenience store and vending machines.

There is, however, a variety of nautical services including cargo handling, storing and packing. It is an all-in-one port that makes things easier for both for people who import goods and holidaymakers alike.

Since its opening in 1998, a number of businesses have boomed around the port. Scottish Enterprise is looking to develop the port of Rosyth and expand services as well as creating a new business infrastructure around the port.

Ferry Services

Superfast Ferries is a subsidiary of Attica Group and runs two ferries, Superfast IX and Superfast X. These sail six days a week between Rosyth in Scotland and Zeebrugge in Belgium, taking approximately 18 hours to complete each leg.
